  2. 2
✅ If it works, the original goes into the machine and then the [Billing Information] screen appears by itself.

Putting the original in the document feeder (ADF)
Place the original on the printer machine
  1. Put it in with the side to copy facing up.
  2. The direction depends on the paper size.
A4 → the long edge goes in first, to the left
B4 · A3 → the short edge goes in first, to the left
  3. Push it all the way to the left. If you only put it in a little, the paper isn't pulled in and you get a blank page.
  4. Slide the top and bottom paper guides to fit the paper exactly. If they're loose, the paper goes in crooked and the copy comes out crooked.
  5. For many pages, stack them neatly and put them in together. (up to 100 sheets)
  6. If the paper goes into the machine and comes back out, it worked. If it doesn't go in, don't pay.
  7. Don't put ID cards · bankbooks · passports · books · crumpled paper here — put them on the glass. (Line them up with the white arrow at the top-left corner. Only ID cards go about 5mm away from the corner)

Copy settings screen. [Basic Copy] in the red box at the top left is selected in blue, with copies, color and original size options
Set up · Start

Choose the options you want — the number (how many sets) · original size (A4 by default; change it if your original is B4 or A3) · color/B&W — then press [Start]. The original goes into the machine and comes back out.
Check that [Basic Copy] in the red box is selected in blue.

!The number means "how many sets", not "how many pages"

The number 1 on the screen doesn't mean 1 page. It means 1 set of all the originals you put in.
e.g.) If you have 10 pages and the number is 1 → 1 set = 10 pages come out.
If you change it to 2 → 2 sets = 20 pages come out. (2 of each)
❌ Don't change it to 10 just because you have 10 pages! That makes 10 sets (100 pages) and costs a lot. For one set, leave it at 1.

!Always check the option settings

We do not compensate for or take responsibility for problems caused by wrong option settings.
